Tardies:

Any unexcused student entering the class within five minutes after the tardy bell rings may receive a
20 minute detention from the classroom teacher or administrator. Any unexcused student who is late

between 5 and 20 minutes may receive a 60 minute detention from the classroom teacher or
administrator. Any student that is more than twenty minutes late to any class is considered absent.

Dropping Courses
Students who drop courses after two weeks into a trimester may receive an F in the course. Final

decision on this matter will be determined by the high school principal and/or designee.

Report Cards and Parent/ Teacher Conferences
Report cards are issued two times each trimester, one at mid-term and one at the end of the
trimester. If a student is in danger of failing a course, parents are requested to contact the teacher
and/or counselor. Parents can also access student grades and attendance via PowerSchool (contact
the H.S. attendance secretary for a password). Parent/ Teacher conferences are scheduled three times
a school year.
